3 year old logic

A recent conversation while driving across a bridge:

Olivia: Mommy, do mouses live in that river?
Me: No, mice do not live in rivers.
Olivia: What are mice?
Me: Mice is how you say there is more than one mouse.
Olivia: No Mommy, more than one mouses are bunnies!

Not sure where to go with that one!

Yesterday she lined several stuffed animals on the couch. She touched each one, saying "You're a superhero, You're a superhero, You're a superhero, etc." I asked her if I was a superhero and she said "No, you're a princess and Daddy's a whale."

One more! I've told almost everyone this story, but I want to make sure it's recorded (ha!). While trying on a shirt after Christmas, I asked her if she liked it. Her response? "Oh, yes Mommy! You look enormous!"

She is doing much better writing her name. She has been able to copy it for awhile (I write it, then she writes it underneath), but now she's doing it by herself.

This is what she chose to wear to her Valentine's Party at school:

Action shot of the party- they were so excited! Mom happened to be in town, so she got to go, too!

She is really into posing and asks me to take her picture often:

In other news, our neighbor sent us these pictures of a bobcat that attacked his (large) dog.

Bobcat's supposedly do not attack humans, but Olivia is close to the same height as our neighbor's dog. Needless to say, she is not allowed out of our sight when outside!

Random

I've been under the weather lately, so not much going on around here! Olivia found her snow bibs in her closet and REALLY wants it to snow.

It's not looking like we will have much snow this year, though!

Have you discovered Pinterest? It is addicting! I have found several ideas for home decor and many are in the works. Olivia and I finished this crayon picture last weekend:

Pretty neat! I will have many more pinterest projects in a few weeks!

Olivia's school was visited by some local police officers recently. I guess they wanted to bring something to give the kids and this was all they had:

I guess it's never too early for gun safety! They are learning letters and today was "Q." She came home with this questionnaire:

I love these! My favorite answer is she wants to be a mommy to babies when she grows up. Sweet girl!

This was on our way to school this morning:

Random update today, but you would understand if you saw the amount of medication I'm on! Kidney stones are not fun, ha!
