I am almost scared to type this, BUT we are on day 3 of no accidents, potty-wise. She hasn't had a diaper on since Sunday (except at night!). Dare I say we are completely potty trained?! I am pretty excited, because I expected it to be much harder, but she's doing great! Fingers crossed!
We have also moved her into her bedroom in a "big girl bed." Granted, one of us has to lay down beside her until she falls asleep, but this is a huge step! If she wakes up (usually once a night), Michael or I go and lay down with her until she falls asleep again (we normally fall asleep, too!). I tried to get rid of her pacifier, but it was too much at once! I cut it down to only at nap time and bedtime (sometimes in the car), which is better than nothing!
Last Sunday we drove to Longmont (45 minutes north) to Sunflower Farms. I found their website while searching for a place with a petting zoo. It was AWESOME! There were sheep, a llama, baby goats, miniature horses, cows, and pigs. Olivia was in heaven! She didn't quite understand how to hold her hand flat to let them eat the corn, so she would hold 1 piece at a time between 2 fingers.
She wasn't too sure about the turkey:
There were also bales of hay set up in tunnels, a horse and buggy ride, huge tree houses connected by bridges, sand boxes, a merry go round, and swings galore. I'm seriously considering going back sometime next week! She had soooo much fun:
My friend, Julie, made her pumpkin shirt. Isn't it adorable?!
Swinging is still her favorite:
How's this for a tree swing?! This tree was HUGE:
Pretty view of the mountains:
She (naturally) found something to hang on:
We parked behind some apple trees and she spied them on our way out. She kept telling us she wanted an apple while we were getting in the car. Michael snagged one, thinking it would be too sour for her. Nope, she ate the entire thing!
We had such a great time!
She has also been tattling recently, mainly on her little friends at daycare. However, when we're at home she can only tattle on me or Daddy, UNTIL she realized she could tattle on the dogs.
Example A (she's tattling on Rambler for peeing in the grass):
Example B, tattling on poor Rambler again (for "hitting" her on her arm and knees):
She is so funny!
