We've been trying to find a weekend to take the girls to Dollywood, but the weather hasn't been cooperating. We decided to head to Gatlinburg anyway this past weekend. Olivia really wanted to try ice skating, so we headed to Ober Gatlinburg (which, Michael and I thought hadn't been updated in at least 25 years). Unfortunately, the ice skating was closed by the time we got there, so we played some arcade games.
Then we headed back to the hotel and let Olivia and Paige swim for awhile. We were staying "on the strip" in Gatlinburg and Livi noticed a mirror maze and indoor putt-putt right away. So, that's what we did the next morning. She thought the mirror maze was "awesome."
We hit the putt-putt next and Paige was thrilled to carry around a ball:
It was still pretty early by the time we finished, so we ended up at Ripley's Believe It or Not museum. Granted, we usually made fun of it, but it turned out to be pretty neat. The entire 3rd floor was interactive, so the girls loved it!
We headed home after the museum. Fun little weekend!
Olivia had her Christmas program last night. I had to work, but Michael managed both girls. I did get to help her get ready before leaving:
So grown up! She did really well.
Big day tomorrow! We will have a 1 year old!
