We headed to St. Augustine, FL a few days after Olivia got out of school. Kind of a last minute trip and the drive turned out to be MUCH longer than anticipated. Ha! What's really funny is Paige used the potty at every stop, meaning we did not have to change her diaper for 14 hours. Crazy kid refuses to potty at home though. These kids loved the beach and we had a great time!
Every day, she's tumbling.
Paige tried to drag the boat to the water, then changed her mind.
I was so proud of Olivia for climbing this light tower. She was a little scared at the top!
We basically herd Paige wherever we go.
You know Michael brought his metal detector.
St. Augustine is on the Atlantic side of Florida and there was lots of seaweed washed on shore. It made great sand castle decor!
Michael and I went on a segway tour, it was so fun!
We also visited the Fountain of Youth, which I kind of remember seeing when I was a kid. Funny, the original "fountain" does not make it to the surface anymore, so it is piped in and you fill your cup from the metal pipe. Ha! The grounds are beautiful, though, and the biggest hit for us were the albino peacocks. Soooo pretty and it was mating season, so we got to see the males strut their stuff.
Olivia and Paige started imitating the noises the females made and thought it was hilarious when one of the males headed their way:
Then Paige got tired and you don't want to be around Paige when she's tired:
And Olivia lost her other front tooth! Exciting trip. :)
