Keeneland

We visited the Lexington area last weekend, meeting up with Brett, Rachel, Maggie, Aubrey, Aiden, Dad and Tammie.  Why Lexington?  Horses, of course!  All the kids love horses and Maggie, Aubrey, and Aiden have been taking riding lessons.  Olivia is signed up for a horse riding camp this summer.  Perfect place for a quick weekend- did the horse races at Keeneland impact our trip?  Possibly...

Hanging out with some jockeys:

Suffice to say, we aren't great at picking horses.  We should have stuck with the "bet on whatever horse Tammie bets on" plan.  She can pick them!

Heading to the pool:

Notice that Paige is missing in the above picture.  Here's what she did the entire time:

She was terrified of the water.  I foresee swim lessons!

We checked out and headed to the Horse Park in Lexington:

Fun trip!  Olivia cried for an hour after we left.

She perked up when the weather was nice enough to ride bikes:

Easter!

I love this time of year.  Especially when the weather cooperates!  Michael had to work on Easter (long story short, he scheduled a re-build for April 4th, not realizing it was Easter), so the girls and I headed to East TN to visit.  We stopped at Mamaw and Papaw's Friday.

Dyeing eggs:

Her hands will be pink for awhile:

The neighbor has a "wa-wa" (Chihuahua), named "Wocky" (Rocky).  Paige loves to antagonize the poor dog:

Saturday we headed to Stoney Creek for Pappy and Nana's annual Easter party.  It was a little chilly, so it was relocated to Dad's school, which turned out great.

Paige playing Plinko:

This game was a big hit:

So fun for these sweet kiddos:

After the party, we met Granny for dinner and attempted to visit the Easter Bunny.  It was a HUGE fail, thus the lack of an Easter bunny picture.  Ha!

The Easter bunny must have forgiven Paige for throwing a huge fit, because he came to Granny's house:

We went to church with Granny, then headed to Lilo's for lunch.  My sweeties:

A-boo!

Thanks for spoiling our girls!

I found a local photographer offering Easter mini sessions for a steal, so I signed up.

LOVE them (yes, all the animals are real!):
